Has anyone used a nanny agency in Lagos that was worth the fee?

Going back to work in January. Baby will be five months. Agencies are quoting a placement fee equal to two months of the nanny's salary, plus medical tests, plus a replacement guarantee that I've heard is hard to claim. I'd rather hear from people who paid. What did the agency really do for you that a referral from church couldn't?
