On the bus, typing fast so I remember. Earned ₦2m. ₦40k left. Rent. School fees. The family monthly. Brother's hospital. A cousin who just needs one more week. Fuel for a car I am not even using. None of it was frivolous, and that is what hurts: I did not enjoy one naira and I am still empty. New note on my phone: this month ₦20k is for me and I will not apologise.
