Small vent. They brought in a boy to shadow me for six weeks, said show him how things work. I showed him everything, client list, vendor contacts, the spreadsheet I've been building since 2022. Friday they announced him as Head of Operations. That post didn't exist on Thursday. He's 24 and he's the MD's son, which I found out from the gateman. First meeting he asked what accrual means. I have school fees in January so I can't just walk out. Do I start looking quietly or wait and see?
